Skip hire on Tallebudgera's rural-residential blocks
Tallebudgera lies inland of Elanora, Palm Beach and Burleigh Heads, back along Tallebudgera Creek. It's the semi-rural pocket of the southern Gold Coast. Dairy farms operated here from the 1890s. When dairying wound down, many of those holdings were carved into rural-residential lots. The 2021 Census recorded 94% of homes as separate houses, and two in three had at least four bedrooms. Tallebudgera Connection Road is where you'll find Coplick Family Sports Park and the state school. St Andrew's Lutheran College is over on Tallebudgera Creek Road, and Trees Road has the heritage-listed former post office.
Choosing where the skip goes
On a bigger property you've got options. Put the bin close to the shed or garden you're clearing and you'll cut down on wheelbarrow runs. Prunings, fences and spoil
Typical jobs out here include tree prunings, storm clean-ups, removing old sheds and outbuildings, putting in new fences, and getting rid of spoil from house pads, driveways and pool digs. Garden waste has its own bin type, Green Waste. Heavy loads have size limits: dirt goes in a 4m bin at most and concrete in a 6m, so we split bigger digs across bins over the phone.
Knocking down an old shed
Old shed timber, steel and sheet metal can all go in a General Builders bin. Asbestos is a different story. It's banned from every skip, along with tyres and batteries, and older cladding on sheds may contain it. Get the cladding checked before you start pulling anything apart. Gas bottles, liquids, wet paint and chemicals are off limits too, so set those aside for proper disposal.
Keeping it inside the boundary
Anywhere within your own boundary is fine without a permit. If the skip has to go on the road, footpath or nature strip, you'll need a City of Gold Coast permit. Getting it is the customer's job, along with the responsibility for it, and EZI Skips doesn't arrange permits. With a bigger block, there's usually more room to keep the bin on your side of the line.

How soon can I have a skip in Tallebudgera?
Our earliest delivery is 36 hours after you book. So if you book online before midday, the bin can reach Tallebudgera the following day. Pick the date that suits and choose a morning or afternoon preference. That preference helps with planning but isn't a set time.
Can I leave the skip on the road outside my Tallebudgera property?
You can, but it needs a permit. A skip on the road, footpath or nature strip requires a City of Gold Coast permit, which you organise and are fully responsible for. Keep the skip anywhere within your own boundary and no permit is required.
What size bin for a Tallebudgera clean-up?

It might be, so call 1800 462 674 before you book. Firm, reasonably flat ground is a must for the bin, and the truck needs a clear run in. A long or unsealed driveway, or one that goes soft in wet weather, is worth talking through first so we can work out a suitable spot.
